Nicole Kidman Named Daughter After Polyamorous Artist's Muse

Unusual baby names are a dime a dozen in Hollywood. From Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter Apple to Nicholas Cage's son Kal-el, no name is really too odd for the celebrity couple looking for a unique stamp for their offspring. So it's not much of a suprise to find out Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban named their new addition after polyamorous artist's muse Sunday Reed, a notable art patron who committed suicide in 1981.

Nicole Kidman Gives Birth to Baby Girl Sunday Rose

Nicole Kidman gave birth on Monday in Nashville with husband Keith Urban by her side. The baby girl, whom the couple has named Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, is the first biological child for the actress. Kidman shares custody of two adopted children, Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Drunk Fan Arrested for Getting Grabby with Cher

A drunken fan was arrested early Wednesday morning after getting a bit too grabby with gay icon and diva extraordinaire Cher. Police took 36-year-old Calvin Hougland into custody after he tried to get too ‘friendly’ with Cher at The World Famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge in Nashville. Houghland was thrown out of the lounge for harassing the singer, but repeatedly attempted to return, resulting in his arrest and incarceration.

Christian Singer Steven Curtis Chapman Daughter Killed, Brother Behind Wheel

The youngest daughter of Christian rock singer Steven Curtis Chapman was stuck down by an SUV driven by her older brother in the driveway of the family’s Franklin, Tenn. home Wednesday. Five-year-old Maria Sue died later that day at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The Chapman’s were long time advocates of international adoption. Maria Sue was one of three girls the couple adopted from China, adding to their three biological children.

PFLAG Grateful for Closure of Love in Action: Hopes for Greater Scrutiny of All 'Ex-Gay' Practitioners
Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) is gratified to learn that the Tennessee Department of Mental Health has ordered the closing of a facility purporting to turn gays straight, which was illegally providing live-in care and medical treatment. Love in Action is the lead facility of a nationwide network of "ex-gay" facilities and practitioners that have operated sometimes with licenses and sometimes without.
